Raising funds to help Oxford's homeless people
We have decided to give the Sleep Out a break in 2012. This event has been running since 1996, and we think it is time for a bit of a breather! Though still successful, we raised significantly lower in 2011 than in previous years (around £8,000) – and we have been seeing a diminishing of interest over recent years generally.
We aren’t saying that it won’t start up again in the future ....... but for now, it is on hold.
Please may we take this opportunity of thanking all our supporters, on behalf of all the homeless people and organisations in Oxford, for your support with this event. Over the years, we must have raised well in excess of £160,000!
If you would still like to support work for the homeless in Oxford check out Who We Are for information on active projects.
on Saturday 19th November at St Clement's Churchyard
